The Zemel Choir: Berlin to Belsize: German composers in the UK

Music by visitors, exiles and emigrés including songs from Berlin cabaret.
The Zemel Choir’s annual concert is always a popular occasion.This year the music will include compositions by Julius Mombach, a German/British emigré composer whose music is already familiar from Belsize weddings and services.
We will also perform music by Mendelssohn and some of Lewandowski’s secular composition, together with more recent music from Britain and the USA.
